Brian Pattie, who has filled in as a Cup group boss starting around 2008, will join Kyle Busch Motorsports and be a team boss for the group's No. 51 truck.

That is the truck Kyle Busch will run five races and Jack Wood will drive somewhere around 10 races in 2023.

"As a racer, your definitive objective is to be in a position where you can come out on top in races and the valuable chance to work with Kyle and different drivers on the No.

51 truck is one that I just couldn't turn down," Pattie said in that frame of mind from the group.

"I've known Kyle since the mid 2000's the point at which I was his group boss for his most memorable modest bunch of Busch Series races

and the very assurance that I saw from him in those days as a driver I've seen from far off as he's constructed the best group throughout the entire existence of the Truck Series.

Pattie has six successes as a Cup team boss. He generally as of late won in 2017, scoring two triumphs with Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

He has been Stenhouse's team boss from that point forward, first at Roush Fenway Dashing and afterward at JTG Daugherty Hustling.
