\Mason Plumlee and Bones Hyland had a fight on the bench

\The LA Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns and earned their spot in the NBA Playoffs, but it wasn't without drama.

Late in the third quarter, Mason Plumlee and Bones Hyland got into an altercation on the bench and Norman Powell had to step between them.

There has been a lot of speculation for months about where wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will ultimately sign in free agency.

Somehow the controversy worked for the Clippers and they found a way to take the lead and win the game during the fourth quarter.

Clippers head coach Ty Lue was asked about the fight after the game, and he gave some surprising answers.

"If you're not doing well, fight back," Lew said. "After that we took off and played better. Maybe we should do it more often. They made it work, it's all good."
